123 Power System: Does It Still Work in Winter 2009?

November 17th, 2009 · No Comments

Hey hey! Ok, I’m sure you remember how the 123 Power System basically exploded all over the internet back in the beginning of 2009?

Are you wondering if it still works, or if the internet is so thoroughly saturated that it is near-pointless to try and market it online, unless you have a huge advertising budget?

Well, yes to both!

The internet is fairly-well saturated, yes…but remember, the 123 Power System isn’t even meant to be marketed online. So how is it working?

The way the 123 Power System works–at least for me, and those I have helped get started–is that you lead off with a fax broadcast to about 2000 or so high-quality biz opp seekers, using the company we recommend.

You should pull in 3-4 sales from that, or around $700-$1200 (remember many people order the Ultra Power System instead of the basic package. This recoups the investment you made in the Ultra Power System (the giant ugprade package that includes the website, autoresponder, etc. which is so critical even for offline marketing) and what you spend on the fax ad, with a little profit left over.

Reinvest your profits in a bigger fax broadcast, to 5,000-10,000, and then take the big profits from that campaign, and invest it in a huge postcard mailing using our team-only Turnkey Postcard Marketing Campaign.

Then, just stick to the direct mail with post cards, and send out one or two mailings a month.

This is the ideal place to be with the 123 Power System, since the target market is people who have home businesses or are trying to sell products, but aren’t very good at it…and that’s everyone and their dog, it seems, given the state of the economy!

So, in summary, the 123 Power System still works just fine as I write this in November of 2009, it is just as matter of branching off from online advertising and using the system as it was meant to be used.

Rob Hunter is Back in Action with YourNetBiz!

August 31st, 2009 · No Comments

Rob Hunter here, and I must admit, I have been sadly derelict in my upkeep of my blog!! You see, I managed to land myself in the hospital due to a little seizure problem, and am just now getting on top of the world again.

But now that I am back in the saddle, let’s talk business!

Seeing as how I AM one of the Team Leaders for YourNetBiz (formerly known as MyInternetBusiness, for those that have been following my blog for a while) and you’ve taken the time to read my blog, I would be remiss if I did not share the latest and greatest with you!

The primary reasons so many fail in online business is the lack of quality traffic to a GOOD website, and the lack of dedicated mentoring to actually show you how it is done.

YourNetBiz, and my team, Mentors 4 U, were both created to solve those problems.

I know you want to make some extra money, but are leery of failure and scams. God knows

* What if you had a high-quality website made for you that will sell like crazy?

* What if you had a team of mentors available to help you learn to market that website?

* And best of all, what if you had a team of professional sales reps to do all your phone calling, so you never have to pick up that phone except to talk to your friends and family?

So, here’s what I want to do. First off, have a look at the

YourNetBiz Presentation

And get the details on the luxury travel club membership, digital software suites, and physical products that you would gain as a member of YourNetBiz.

Learn how the turnkey marketing systems work.

Check out some of the success stories, and consider if you would like to be the next.

Then, head on over to see my PERSONAL take on all this, here on Youtube in my

No-Holds-Barred report on YourNetBiz!

Finally, either Request a Callback by clicking on that floating Got Questions? button, or give me a call personally, and let’s talk about all this!

All the best,

123 Power System FAILURE

August 3rd, 2009 · No Comments

The 123 Power System prides itself on being almost idiot-proof (with the understanding that when you make something idiot-proof, they build a better idiot!). Why, then, am I contacted often by intelligent people who bought the 123 Power System, and are struggling with it?

Well, in almost every case, it has been Operator Error–the individual has not successfully IMPLEMENTED the 123 Power System, and that missing piece(s) is the cause of the failure.

In this blog, I am going to run down some of these common missing pieces that is causing 123 Power System owners to struggle.

1) Sales Letter Not Ready, Not Customized The sales letter/special report is the lifeblood of the 123 Power System, and really is what makes it tick. Getting that sales letter into the hands of as many quality prospects as possible is the key to making sales.

You may not know it, but the sales letter is on the CD that came with your 123 Power System, as a word document. I think it is titled ‘Mailing Piece’ or something similar. It is 100% CRITICAL that you take this document, customize it, add in your name and contact information, change it a bit so it says what you want to say, and print out a bunch of these.

That way, when your prospects respond to your marketing and request a copy of the sales letter, you can send it out to them right away. This ’special report’ is also at least part of the enticement on your lead capture page to get people to opt-in, so be sure to add it as an attachment to your first Aweber or other autoresponder message.

2) No 800 number If you don’t include an 800 number on your advertising, you are taking away one popular way for your prospects to respond to you, learn about your offering, and request a copy of the special report/sales letter. With fax broadcasting, about 10% of responses come from the 800 number. With postcard advertising, it is more like 60%!!

Not having an 800 number will gimp your response rate, and getting it is cheap. So why not get it?
I personally use Kall8.com, and it costs me all of $2-$7 a month.

Take the 5 minutes required to set up your RECORDED VOICE MESSAGE giving some information on the 123 Power System and encouraging your callers to request a copy of the special report sent to their mailing address.

3) No website, or no lead capture page Under the same venue, if you are marketing the 123 Power System and you don’t have a website complete with lead capture page, you are seriously gimping yourself. I found about 20% of responses came via lead capture page on fax broadcasting, and 40% on the postcard campaign.

But just a sales page by itself is virtually useless IMO, since very, very few people pull out their credit card right on the spot.

No, you need a lead capture page, integrated with autoresponder to follow up with these prospects and keep them coming back to your website the 5-7 times it normally takes for a customer to buy.

4) No Advertising Believe it or not, this is a common KILLER of any and every business opportunity. Jane Doe invests in a product or opportunity, and is all excited that she is going to work for herself and bring in some extra money on the side, then one day quit her job and just run her own business.

Then she reads some home business horror stories on the internet and loses her nerve, and never runs a single ad for her business.

Tragic! But if you’ve been in this industry for any length of time, I’m sure you’ve had many stories like her in your downline/organization. I’ve spoken to several 123 Power System owners who are having trouble because they’ve never made a single sale, and asked them what they’ve done for advertising and…nothing!

And they wonder why their business isn’t thriving??

Well, those are the most common omissions that are holding back affiliates of the 123 Power System from the success they dream of. If you are one of them, then I hope this blog has been of help to you. If not, perhaps you know someone who is, and would be so kind as to email this link to them!

Wishing you much success,

Rob Hunter

123 Power System–Hype and BS!

July 8th, 2009 · 1 Comment

I’ve been involved in internet marketing for a while now, and let me tell you, I am SICK of all the unscrupulous marketers trying to hook people using pictures of yachts and piles of cash and attractive mates that will allegedly all be yours if you just pony up the money to buy whatever business or cash gifting scheme they are selling…

Especially with the 123 Power System–if you don’t know what I’m talking about, you must never get any of those unsolicited emails promising you $8000 in 7 days or similar BS. I’m going to share with you a short and sad tale that kind of illustrates my point.

I received a phone call the other day from an elderly lady who had not only been sold the 123 Power System, but had purchased the upgrade package, having been told that it ‘does all the work for her’. She told me that her sponsor, who had sold it to her, just told her to learn it on her own, and offered no help or training of any sort.

This is being said to a lady who can barely find the CD-ROM drive on her computer, much less figure out how to run her own business online.

And do you know what the worst part is?

I took a look at her website, the one she bought for $257…and OH MY JESUS was it a pack of lies! Whoever created it basically took their own website, with all their own income claims, and just swapped out their name for hers, so it looks like this grandmother is this multiple 7-figure earner who holds all the secrets to entrepreneurial success.

She readily admitted she hadn’t even made a single sale since she joined, and felt dirty even advertising that website, so dishonest it is. And it’s not her fault…she just paid the money and sent the cheesy web designer her godaddy login info, and he took it from there.

Now, if I were viewing this website, I would be DISINCLINED to purchase the 123 Power System, due to the claims of making $7000 each week starting right away, the 3% order rates leading to 1000% ROI, and the scammy hypey pictures of mountains of cash, etc.

Isn’t the point of having a website to ENCOURAGE customers to examine and evaluate your product, to see if it is a good investment for them? Isn’t it possible to create an appealing website with valuable information that doesn’t reek of PONZI SCHEME?

I strongly believe that the 123 Power System IS a great product, but I think the dishonest marketing people are doing is dragging it down heavily!

So what I did, was I gave it a good college try to create a website that provides accurate, useful information about the product I am selling–no screenshots or pictures of wealth or testimonials, just the facts on the 123 Power System.

Here it is: The Hype-Free 123 Power System Website

Please take a look, then let me know what you think!!

Here’s to honest exchange of information over the internet,

123 Power System Postcard Update

June 17th, 2009 · No Comments

For those who are following my saga, I am on Step 3 of the 123 Power System: Direct mail marketing using postcards. I used a resource available to our team which basically allowed me to click the mouse a few times, and send postcards out to a list of 2000 business opportunity enthusiasts just like that.

They went out on June 1st, and the responses started coming in as soon as the postcards were delivered. Here is how this part of the 123 Power System works: the customer receives the postcard, and either goes to the website or calls my 800 number. They hear a 1 minute overview, that then gives them a call to action: leave your name and mailing address and you will be shipped a FREE report explaining exactly how this 123 Power System works!

When the customer leaves the voice message, I immediately get an email with the audio file attached. I listen to the VM, take down the customer’s contact info in an excel spreadsheet, then copy and paste it onto a word document that prints out on an envelope.

Then I print out and sign a cover letter, attach it to the special report, which I then fold and place neatly into the envelope along with my business card. I take these to the post office in batches–the postal employees know me by name now! And off they go!

This part of the 123 Power System DOES require some work–listening to the voice mails, printing out the envelopes and mailing the special reports. Especially when you have the enormous amount of responses that I have (we are at like 120 or so!)

But it is easy work that anyone can do–no special marketing skills needed here, you just have to not be completely lazy. Check the voice mails from the 800 number by having your email box open, listen to ‘em and get the information down quickly, and ship the reports in a timely fashion.

Also, the 123 Power System recommends sending out a followup letter 14 days after the customer receives the special report–and for the first wave of customers, that was yesterday! With some help from my wife, I sent out about 39 followup letters yesterday–this dramatically increases the conversion of prospects to sales, because you are following up with them after they have had a chance to look at, digest and think about the special report.

We’ll see how well it goes. The followup letter does include the order form, so hopefully a good % of those prospects will fill it out and send it back with payment.

Speaking of payment, we’ve talked a lot about the details of how Step 3 of the 1-2-3 Power System works–but how much in sales have I actually made so far?

Well, so far we’ve only had $1800 come in–note quite 9 sales, considering that two of them were sales of the upgraded website package. Still, considering the postcard campaign was ‘turnkey’ and only cost me $1147, that is not a bad return!! Two of these 123 Power System sales in particular stood out, because I had never communicated with or spoken to the customer, or even knew they existed…they just went to the website from the postcard and bought!

That’s REALLY cool, and it’s also really cool when the order forms with checks arrive in the mail from people who you only know about because they left a voice message on your 800 number.

Finally, the real kicker here is that most of the profits from the postcard campaign are supposed to come in AFTER the 14-day followup letter is sent. So it sounds like the profit I’ve made so far is just the beginning!

I can see why the holy grail of the 123 Power System–and other offline marketing systems–is to consistently send out postcards each week to a new list.

Stay tuned for more!

123 Power System Postcards

June 4th, 2009 · No Comments

This blog is going to be the first of several devoted to the postcard advertising campaign that I just ran using the 123 Power System.

If you haven’t read or watched any of my previous reviews of the 123 Power System marketing techniques, then be aware that what we are talking about is an offline marketing course that teaches you a 3-step system for going from 0 to a full-time income selling a product or products offline.

That’s right, the 123 Power System has nothing to do with internet marketing, mailing lists, websites, etc–though many of us can and do market online as well, since we’ve been doing it for so long with other programs.

But really, marketing the 123 Power System is almost an afterthought, an old habit. It can be done 100% offline.

Although I certainly had the money to skip right to Step 3 of the 1-2-3 Power System, I decided to start from the beginning, as if I was a n00b with a shoe-string budget. My first fax broadcast brought in $1200, and my second about $1000. I took half of my profits and put it into step 3, a postcard campaign to 2000 targeted prospects.

Well, this was my first venture into postcard advertising, how did I do?

The mailing went out on Friday, May 29th, and on Monday the cards began to arrive at their destinations. Within 2 days, I already had SIXTY-TWO people respond to my offer! WOWEE!

That is even better than I did with the fax broadcasting…it’s plain to see why direct mail is so powerful, and considered the Holy Grail of offline advertising.

I am just astounded at how quickly and how powerfully this postcard ad is pulling for me, and though I’m experienced and accomplished in the internet marketing world, I’m a rank newbie as far as postcard advertising goes!

Here’s an image of the actual postcard that I sent:

123 Power System

My team has set up a turnkey postcard system wherein you have the mailing list, printing house, postcard design and mailing service all brought together under one site, so all you have to do is select quantity and click OK.

It doesn’t get much simpler than that!

I intend to do a video update on Step 3 of the 123 Power System in the near future, but for now, I will sign off and get back to fulfilling those responses!

123 Power System: How to make it work

June 1st, 2009 · 1 Comment

The 123 Power System has been good to me, of that there is no doubt. Over $2132 in sales from the fax broadcast, and many more sales just from my 123 power system youtube videos, hub pages, squidoo site, etc.

And this is for someone who has never done a fax broadcast in his life, doesn’t own a fax machine, and had no idea it was even a potentially-lucrative method of advertising until I got my hands on and read the 123 Power System cover to cover.

To my surprise, however, I have been receiving phone calls and emails from people who are already in the 1-2-3 Power System, but who have not been successful with it yet!

How is it that everything I touch with this low-ticket business opportunity and marketing course is turning to gold, but other people can’t make a sale to save their lives?

I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and I believe I’m ready to share the results.

LACK OF TEAM SUPPORT Several of the people I’ve spoken with don’t have any sort of team infrastructure in place–except maybe a duplicated training site that they don’t understand, and no one will explain to them.

Having a mentor who will help you through the steps is key to making the 123 Power System work for you.

EXCESSIVE RELIANCE ON INTERNET MARKETING Guys, the 1-2-3 Power System was designed so you DON’T have to compete with everybody and their dog on the internet…I see people spending $1-$2 per click in PPC on Google Adwords promoting some flavor of the generic 123 power system sales page, and I just shake my head.

To make this work for you, you need to TRY the offline marketing methods. They are pricey but they WORK, and the returns are phenomenol.

LACK OF EFFECTIVE FOLLOWUP As mentioned above, when people are promoting that sales page, unless their customer pulls out their credit card right on the spot and buys, they may lose that customer to another dealer whose website the customer finds when they finally decide they are ready.

A strong, compelling lead capture page and autoresponder followup series is KEY to turning website visitors into sales, and it seems to me that very few online dealers have lead capture pages.

Part of this is because it isn’t included in the $457 website setup option–all that a customer gets with that is the product plus the sales page.

$257 for a cut-and-paste sales page is a waste of money IMO, and I always create lead capture pages and turnkey autoresponder setup for those who buy the upgraded 123 Power System from me.

RELYING ON THE ‘CANNED’ AD COPY There are several ads included in the 123 Power System, that you can duplicate for classifieds, fax broadcasting, email broadcasting, etc.

Don’t.

Why? The 123 power system has been around for 3 years, and people have SEEN those stale, old ads. Write your own!!

There is a great resource on the CD that comes with your package that teaches you how to write awesome fax copy. I devoured this book and put it to use right away, and I think that accounts for my success.

LEARN TO WRITE COPY, OR PAY SOMEONE WHO IS GOOD AT IT TO WRITE YOU SOMETHING UNIQUE.

LACK OF CONSISTENCY Some people run one or two ads, and then give up. You have to be advertising consistently to get your flyer, postcard, website, etc in front of the eyes of a steady stream of targeted prospects.

This is true of any business–if you stop advertising, you stop selling.

Confucius says, “Man who thinks he cannot afford advertising, need to advertise business for sale.”

Actually he didn’t say that, but you get the idea.

Well, hopefully, this has given you some insights into what you need to do to make the 123 Power System work for you.

If I can be of additional assistance, with creation of a custom-branded lead capture page, autoresponder setup, or a unique fax flyer that you can use, please do not hesitate to contact me.

My Internet Business Is YourNetBiz

May 21st, 2009 · No Comments

What in blazes is Rob Hunter talking about this time? Well, on Tuesday, MyInternetBusiness 3.0 went live with a whole slew of upgrades for members. Among other things, the company has been rebranded as ‘YourNetBiz‘.

YourNetBiz

I suppose this is meant to give it a more personal feel, although it does undo the humorous old reason that Darren Gaudry named it ‘MyInternetBusiness’ in the first place: just picture one of those PPC marketers trying to say, ‘MyInternetBusiness is A Scam!’ or ‘My Internet Business Ripped Me Off!’

Instant loss of credibility, since if it ripped HIM off, why should we join it? Anyway, so the new name, YourNetBiz may lack that appeal, but it is easier to say, and feels more personal.

Anyway, so aside from the cute new name brand, what other upgrades were released in the MyInternetBusiness 3.0 upgrade?

Well, instead of belaboring each point, here is a chart showing everything you get with YourNetBiz:

MyInternetBusiness 3.0

To me, it seems the major upgrades are the new, simplified marketing system, which I think will convert a lot better than the old one–the old My Internet Business tour just had too many pages and was hard to navigate. This new tour only has four pages, and is much more to-the-point.

Most importantly, the landing page for YourNetBiz is a powerful movie presentation PLUS survey where the prospect answers 17 questions to qualify themself as serious. The presentation itself focuses on the economy, and how it is a time of opportunity as well as recession.

Coolest of all, anyone who fills out the survey will be contacted by your own Professional Business Assistant, who will close the sale for you!

In the prior versions of My Internet Business, it really was like pulling teeth to get people to fill out that Request a Callback form. I think this new upgrade is going to significantly increase the number of callback requests, and in turn, sales for YourNetBiz.

Another cool thing is the Setup Wizard in the YourNetBiz back office. Now, this is meaningless in terms of making sales, marketing, etc but it is important once you HAVE the sales! I have a brand new Platinum member who just started the setup wizard last night, and it makes the process SOO much easier.

Honestly, I think the reason a lot of people never get out of the gate is that setting up was very complicated and tedious in the past.

YourNetBiz also offers a new pre-approved merchant account, which I may take a look at–I’ve been using the old one, and I kind of hate it. Just too many monthly recurring fees, like a $10 DOCUMENT fee. Jesus, people, send me the statement online and I’ll keep my $10 thank you.

Also, with YourNetBiz they ditched all the graphic/text lead capture pages–which I thought sucked–and just kept the video one–which I KNOW rocks, I use it extensively for solo ads and PPC.

Well, I’ve said a mouthful about MyInternetBusiness now AKA YourNetBiz, so I will sign off here, and let you go take a look at it yourself through any of the copious links I have provided in this blog post.

Enjoy!

123 Power System Update

May 18th, 2009 · 1 Comment

Good morning to you, dear reader, and Happy Monday :-)

I’m giving you a quick update on the 123 Power System. Previously, I gave you some real numbers from Step 2, Fax Broadcasting. The final tally from the fax ad that I ran was $2,132 in sales! I had never done any fax broadcasting in my life before this.

I can’t tell you how delighted I was that I had found something that works for everyone.

So what now? What to do with that money?

Well, to be honest, yes, I put some of it in the bank. But I just reinvested about $1000 into Step 3 of the 123 Power System: a direct mail campaign using postcards!

This is 2000 full-color postcards sent out to business opportunity buyers all over the country.

My friend who has been doing postcard advertising with the 1-2-3 Power System already says he usually pulls in a 1-3% order rate. Since this is my first time advertising with postcards, let’s say I’ll only get half a percent order rate.

2000 x .005 x $200 per sale=$2000. Subtract off the $1000 I spent, and I’ll have doubled my money with just half a percent!

There is no other investment that I can think of, short of real estate–and we don’t want to get into THAT can of worms right now–where you can make that kind of return in such a short period of time.

Anyway, wish me luck on my postcard campaign! :-)

123 Power System RESULTS

May 6th, 2009 · 2 Comments

Ok, so the results are in to determine whether or not the 123 Power System really can work for anyone. I mean, if I only broadcasted it out to my mailing list, that I’ve built over many marketing campaigns, and then said ‘YAHOO look at all those sales I made anyone can do this!’

That wouldn’t mean much, since people who are just starting don’t already have huge opt-in mailing lists!

No, instead, what I am going to talk about today is the results of my FAX BROADCASTING campaign, following the exact steps in the 123 Power System So, without further ado, let’s hear it live on video!

So, was that video something or what? Over $1000 profit off a $200 investment…that is just awesome!! And the cool thing is, anyone can do the exact same thing, with or without a computer!

It’s really exciting that one guy on my team, with no computer, just did a fax broadcast, and is already getting responses! This is a fresh and exciting break from the world of internet marketing and My Internet Business, which is great and all, but I can’t tell you how many people I’ve had join and then NEVER DO A DAMN THING.

I mean seriously…they give up before they even start because it involves learning new skills!

But I love how with the 1-2-3 Power System, there is very little ‘marketing’ to be done, and all turnkey advertising.

Pick up phone, call vendor, place order. Get customer responses, mail out reports, get customer orders.

That’s about it!

So, there is my update and excitement for the day on the 123 Power System, and I hope this was helpful!
