So, after 6 years of loyal service, my Dell Dimension has at last decided to retire.

Well, it wasn’t actually my computer’s decision, it more had to do with the malware that had infected it–I tried system restores, booting in safe mode to track down and remove the offending programs, and other methods.

Last week, I had to go to Atlanta for a business trip. The hotel at which the conference was being held offered special discounted rates for conference attendees–but it was still kinda expensive. Just for grins, I thought I would see what kind of rates I could get via MyInternetBusiness.

So I’ll tell you right away, if you are looking at starting an internet business, but don’t want to market or pay others to market for you, don’t waste your money and time. It would be cheaper and less frustrating for all involved if you just take up pinochle or Sudoku or something instead.

And that shouldn’t be a big honking surprise, I mean think about it. Like I said in the video above, you don’t buy a new lawnmower, leave it in the garage and never touch it, and expect it to mow your lawn. An internet business is the same way. It’s a tool at you can use to generate an income. Or you can leave it in the garage and twiddle your thumbs waiting for your bank account to flood with sales.

But I will say, that the crashing markets and ailing economy has created one hell of a demand for education and training in how to earn money online. After all, more and more people can’t afford to get by just with their day jobs, those living paycheck to paycheck can’t pay the bills anymore, and sadly, people are watching their retirement assets dwindle to a fraction of their previous value.
